Eng. Ana Domínguez, LEED AP, was born in Panama City and graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Technological University of Panama (UTP) with a specialization in Energy and Environment in InWent, Berlin, Germany and the Faculty of Mechanics of the Technological University of Panama.
Since 2006, she began the development of research in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency measures in Panama through the Climate Change Unit of ANAM. She joined the Management Program in Sustainability and Sustainable Energy Policies taught by INCAE Business School. In recent years, she has been closely linked to the promotion of High Performance Buildings locally and internationally, through the management of the LEED certification process.
Ana is an active member of the Panama Green Building Council, initiating the coordination of the Education Committee and is currently a member of the Scientific-Technical Committee. She has taught courses and lectures on LEED, Sustainable Construction Certification, Sustainability and Climate Change in universities and local and international associations. As a LEED Accredited Professional, she applies her expertise in Resource Optimization, Management of Quality Inspection, Carbon Footprint and Environmental Certifications.

Ing. Ana Domínguez, LEED AP, nació en la Ciudad de Panamá y es egresada de la Facultad de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP) con una especialidad en Energía y Ambiente en InWent, Berlín, Alemania y en la Facultad de Mecánica de la Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
A partir del 2006, empezó el desarrollo de investigaciones de Energías Renovables y medidas de Eficiencia Energética en Panamá a través de la Unidad de Cambio Climático de la ANAM. Formó parte del Programa de Gerencia de la Sustentabilidad y Políticas Energéticas Sostenible impartido por INCAE Business School. En los últimos años, ha estado muy ligada a la promoción de Edificios de Alto Rendimiento a nivel local e internacional, a través del manejo del Proceso de Certificación LEED.
Es miembro activo del Panama Green Building Council, iniciando la coordinación del Comité de Educación y actualmente es parte del Comité Científico-Técnico. Ha impartido cursos y conferencias sobre la Certificación LEED, Construcción Sustentable, Sustentabilidad y Cambio Climático en universidades y gremios locales e internacionales. Profesional Acreditada LEED, aplica sus conocimientos en la Optimización de los Recursos, Manejo de la Inspección de la Calidad, Huella de Carbono y Certificaciones Ambientales.
